Atlanta joins DPWH Coordination meeting

February 21-22. The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) recently organized a coordination meeting in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, at the Princesa Island Garden Resort attended by design engineers from DPWH offices across the country to talk about infrastructure projects and initiatives for the year.

The meeting focused on the development of new infrastructure projects as well as the enhancement of current ones. The utilization of innovative materials and technology in infrastructure projects, as well as the need for sustainable and environmentally friendly designs, were among the themes highlighted

Infrastructure products from Atlanta Industries, a prominent manufacturer of high-quality building materials, including Durapipe, Durawall, Duraroof, and Duratank, were showcased to the delegates as prospective solutions for infrastructure projects as one of the meeting's highlights.

Durapipe is a cost-effective and long-lasting alternative to conventional concrete piping systems well-suited for use in water distribution, sewage, and drainage systems. Durawall is a PVC sheetpile known for its durability capable to prevent flood and soil erosion and a great alternative to steel sheetpile. Duraroof is a roofing material renowned for its energy efficiency and durability. Duratank, on the other hand, is a water storage system that is built to endure severe weather conditions and may be utilized for a variety of purposes, including water delivery, firefighting, and irrigation.

The quality and adaptability of Atlanta Industries products impressed the DPWH's design experts. They stated that the items could give effective solutions for infrastructure projects, particularly in regions susceptible to extreme weather.
